Description
5x8 inch ink and marker drawing on acid free drawing paper.
Orbits is a continuation of a series of experiments using marker drawings in saturated layers on the reversed side of the paper. As the layers of marker bleed through the back of the drawing and interact, the color areas on the drawing side are softened, and the overlayed colors and behavior of the pigments and dyes creates sharp edges of color, on a similar scale to the line traceries in the ink portion of the drawing.
Prismacolor art marker and Pigma "micron" pigment ink ultrafine felt tip pen. I've saved some old Prismacolor marker drawings on bad paper for 30 years na d the paper has gone brown but the marker colors are still good as when I drew them.

Chocolate layer cake with brandied strawberry filling, football snacks, and o on, but I'm done for the day - washed the paint off a finished cooking. By the way, if I twist my head and squint just so, the new abstracts still tend to look like your self portraits, Charlie. Must be something deep and universal at work akin to the Golden Ratio.
