Oil on canvasboard using Weber Resingel to capture brush textures and Gamblins looser gel medium to create transparent 3-D glazing effects.
A smaller abstracted machinery painting. I like to imagine odd little gears communicating across a complex backdrop of components, or perhaps the social machinery of a complex urban plan.
Here the palette and geometric and textural ideas are reminscent of the larger Gridlock. The colors are softer - warm mauves, violets, soft reds and blues.
