Artist's Description
A large ink drawing based on intersecting circles. Windsor and Newton Pigmented Ink Markers, Prismacolor black art marker, sakura micron pigma felt tip fine line pens on Strathmore drawing paper.
Smaller and smaller line widths and scale were used to create self-similar details. These details are located in the defects in larger hand drawn lines. the overall impression is of something bubbling and growing - inflating at every point of high curvature.

The center makes me think of the death star. The overall composition is a play on certain types of diffraction techniques, with Laue backscattering (Laue Diffraction) as a strong influence.
