Description
An abstraction of bare winter trees. A combination of painting and drawing techniques were used, including inscribing lines into a background layer of wet paint. Impasto and highly textured oxide powder media were used to add sbstance and weight to the tree trunks. Fine line ink details and shining gold paint details create a pattern within a pattern, adding interest and movement to the bare brances and spaces between the trees.
