The colored areas of ‘Learning Circuit’ were created by pressing archival art marker through the paper from the back side, in layers. The soft edged areas of color created by this technique complement the fine line traceries. The fine line work was drawn in using an ultrafine point pigment ink pen. The piece refers to early ideas in A.I., expert systems, and heuristic neural networks.
