Drawing: Marker, Ink and Paint on Paper.

An ink drawing using freehand techniques and inking templates. Opaque white India Ink marker was used to create a pattern in the background. This acts almost like a mask or frisket, but instead of blocking the color on top, a lighter, thinner layer is achieved. Archival pigmented ink pens and markers on acid free vellum textured Bristol paper.
The abstract subject depicts a geometric pattern of circles and ellipses joining, disjoint and stumbling skywards.
